URN: CMIML607
Business Sectors (Suites): Pan-sector Management and Leadership 2026
Developed by: CMI
Approved: 2026

Overview

This standard is about planning and managing work to support continuity, resilience and recovery so that operations, services and projects can continue or resume when conditions change or disruption occurs. You determine the information you need, gather and analyse evidence and evaluate risks, dependencies and potential disruptions. You develop continuity plans, coordinate activities that strengthen resilience and support recovery when disruption occurs. You communicate clearly, promote inclusion and shared understanding and support colleagues to meet expectations. You monitor conditions, escalate concerns when required and adapt plans in response to change. You apply
relevant leadership, management and resilience-based theories and models to strengthen continuity, resilience and recovery.

This standard applies to managers and leaders at all levels across all sectors.
