Review progress and adapt decisions
Overview
This standard is about reviewing progress and adapting decisions when conditions change to maintain effective delivery. You determine the information you need, gather and analyse evidence and evaluate progress against priorities, plans and objectives. You identify factors that influence progress, assess the impact of changing conditions and adjust decisions to keep work on track. You collaborate with colleagues to agree on adapted actions, communicate clearly to support shared understanding and enable colleagues to implement revised decisions. You monitor the working environment, escalate issues appropriately and reflect on your approach to strengthen adaptive decision-making.
This standard applies to managers and leaders at all levels across all sectors.
